  • Only qualified personnel should install, inspect, or maintain propane-powered equipment. Improper installation or use may result in serious injury or death.

  • Propane cylinders must be stored and handled per regulatory requirements to prevent leaks, fire, or other hazards.

2.3 Assumption of Risk

Safety Guidelines for Tabletop Fire Pits, Decorative Screens, and Other Products

General Safety Instructions

  1. Read Before Use: Carefully read and understand all instructions and warnings before using any tabletop fire pit, decorative screen, or other products.

  2. Not for Children or Pets: These products are not toys. Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times.

  3. Supervise Use: Never leave the fire pit or decorative screens or any other products unattended when in use.

 

 

Tabletop Fire Pits: Proper Use and Handling

  1. Placement:

    • Use only on flat, stable, and heat-resistant surfaces.

    • Maintain a minimum clearance of 3 feet from flammable materials, including curtains, tablecloths, and decorations.

    • Do not place the fire pit indoors or in enclosed spaces unless explicitly designed for indoor use.

  2. Fuel Use:

    • Use only approved fuel types as specified in the product instructions (e.g., propane, ethanol, or gel fuel).

    • Never substitute other fuels, including gasoline or lighter fluid.

    • Refuel only when the fire pit is cool and flames are fully extinguished.

  3. Operation:

    • Avoid reaching over the flame or leaning too close to the fire pit while in use.

    • Do not move the fire pit while it is lit or hot.

  4. Risk Awareness:
